If you appreciate a great experience, you will become a regular at the Barber Shop. For those who are old enough, think of the TV show “Cheers” and replace the bar stools with barber chairs. This is a place where you are known, welcomed and where you not only get a great cut (and “great” means way better than the low priced chop shop chains that cater to guys), but you get great conversation, and camaraderie as well. It is a place for guys to come and relax and shoot the breeze with other guys. Ladies are welcomed as well, but know that this is a guy place with guy décor, sports on the TV and guy talk. A great place for guys of all generations (I take my son here with me) to be guys. One thing that you will not get at the Barber Shop, that the chop shop chains are great at- is to be rushed in and rushed out- with the poor results that approach offers. While these guys at the Barber Shop can get you out quickly if needed, they still do so with great quality. And if you are not in a rush- be prepared to talk about “whatever” with these great barbers. Every one of them has an interesting story, and they enjoy hearing yours as well. "My 12 year old son was in a rush to get a haircut and we missed closing time at the Barber Shop (which does offer great hours, by the way). I suggested he wait until the next day, but he wanted the cut for the first day of school. So, we did the chop shop routine. After the 9 minutes it took, I asked him what he thought about the experience. He thought for a moment and then replied “Well… it’s not the Barber Shop”. Great wisdom for a 12 year old- And great wisdom for us older guys as well."
